One Piece Grandline Men Fisher Tiger & Arlong Figures Released!

One Piece Fisher Tiger and Young Arlong Grandline Men Figures Vol. 15 2013

Yesterday I talked about the just-released One Piece WCF Vol. 31 figures–the first post-timeskip WCF set to be released in the better part of a year, and speaking of series with big gaps of time in them…

It’s hard to believe, but the last series of One Piece DX Grandline Men figures (Vol. 14 with Grandline Men Brook and Chopper) was released over 8 months ago, in October 2012! I’m not sure why there was such an extensive wait between series, but luckily, the Banpresto One Piece Grandline Men Vol. 15 Fisher Tiger and Arlong figures have now been released!

One Piece POP Sadi Chan Portrait of Pirates Figure Released!

One Piece Sadie POP Box MegaHouse Portrait of Pirates Limited

June has been an unusually slow month for One Piece P.O.P. fans, as the month’s only regular release–One Piece Z Nico Robin POP Edition-Z, got delayed into July. But while the one Portrait of Pirates mass-release scantily clad babe has slipped into next month, a limited one has arrived right on time!

Just released overseas by MegaHouse, it’s the figure I’m going to have the hardest time ever convincing my wife to allow into the house–the One Piece POP Sadi Chan figure!

One Piece POP Trafalgar Law Sailing Again Figure Review

POP Trafalgar Law MegaHouse Figure with Arms Crossed

I was seriously considering just pretending that the newly-released MegaHouse Trafalagar Law P.O.P. Sailing Again figure didn’t exist until winter, so that I could take the official review photography of the Punk Hazard Law Portrait of Pirates figure in the snow. But, well, judging by the numerous messages I’ve gotten asking why I haven’t reviewed Law yet, I’ve surmised that people would prefer not to wait. So I present to you, accompanied by illogical summer outdoor photos, my review of the all-new 2013 One Piece P.O.P. Trafalgar Law Sailing Again figure!

Figuarts Zero One Piece Z Roronoa Zoro, Nico Robin, Brook Released!

Figuarts Zero One Piece Z Roronoa Zoro Box Figure

It took Bandai a little while to get started with releasing their Figuarts Zero One Piece Film Z Straw Hat Pirates, but a couple weeks ago they released the first trio of Monkey D. Luffy, Tony Tony Chopper and Franky. And now, Bandai is done with two-thirds of the crew, just like that! Japanese collectors who pre-ordered the limited web exclusive Figuarts Zero One Piece Z Roronoa Zoro, Brook and Nico Robin have begun to receive their figures! YO HO HO!

Figuarts Zero One Piece Enel & Perona Revealed for October 2013!

One Piece Figuarts Zero Enel and Perona Pre TS Figures Bandai 2013 October

Earlier this month we broke the news of the trio of October 2013 Bandai Figuarts Zero One Piece figures: Gold Boa Hancock & Salome, Enel and pre-timeskip Perona. As it turned out, the Boa Hancock (Gold) figure was actually a (rather ugly) limited web exclusive that Bandai published photos of weeks ago. We’ve had to wait a bit longer for images of the other two figures, but they’ve finally been published: it’s the One Piece Figuarts Zero Enel and Thriller Bark Perona figures!

Figuarts Zero Hody Jones & Luffy Battle Ver. Released!

Monkey D. Luffy Battle Ver. Figuarts Zero Box

At the rate Bandai is going, I am seriously never going to catch up on my One Piece Figuarts Zero collection! I haven’t even had a chance to get my Sogeking figure out of the box yet, nor have I even received my Figuarts Zero One Piece Punk Hazard Trafalgar Law and Caesar Clown figures, and already Bandai has unleashed two more figures overseas! It’s tough to be angry, though, when one of the figures is the most dynamic Luffy figure ever made by any company, and the other is the first action figure of my most wanted One Piece villain–Hody Jones!

One Piece Film Z Grandline Vehicle Aokiji Bicycle Figure Announced!

One Piece Z New World Aokiji Bicycle Banpresto Grandline Vehicle Toy

Well, this was unexpected. At the most recent Banpresto Prize Fair, Banpresto showed off the next vehicle in their Banpresto One Piece Grandline Vehicle collection. I had assumed that the next vehicle released would be the Black Rhino (Kurosai) Motorcycle, to complement the Brachio Tank V that is the first entry in the Grandline Vehicle Series of One Piece toys. As it turns out, the next vehicle released will be a bike after all–but instead of a motorbike, it’s the old-fashioned kind: from One Piece Film Z, it’s the Grandline Vehicle Aokiji on Bicycle figure!

One Piece Figuarts Zero Basil Hawkins Figure Review 2013

Close-Up of Basil Hawkins One Piece Figuarts Zero Pre Timeskip Figure

I’m going to lose all credibility if I keep saying that every other Figuarts Zero One Piece figure released is my favorite one of the year–but man, do I love this Basil Hawkins figure. Basil Hawkins is one of the eleven Supernovas introduced during the Sabaody arc of the One Piece anime and manga, and though he doesn’t do much pre-timeskip, he was certainly a memorable and visually interesting character. So today I’ll be reviewing his first major figure release, the Bandai One Piece Figuarts Zero Basil Hawkins figure…
