Trafalgar Law is a pretty popular guy. By which I mean “earth-shatteringly, riot-inducingly” popular–perhaps more popular than any other singular character in the entire One Piece franchise. Yes, Trafalgar Law is a popular guy. So it should come as no surprise that, following the crazy blockbuster success that was the 2013 Figuarts Zero Trafalgar Law Punk Hazard figure, Bandai is opening up 2014 with another Law. Coming February 2014–Figuarts Zero One Piece Trafalgar Law Battle Version figure!
I can already foresee that there is gonna be a lot of, lot of whining and complaining about Bandai’s choice of figures to kick off 2014 for One Piece Figuarts Zero. Here’s my two cents: If Bandai thinks a Battle Ver. Trafalgar Law Figuarts Zero figure will sell like gangbusters and keep the One Piece FAZ figures line healthy, then that’s fantastic. January 2014 is already a rare skip month for the One Piece Bandai line, and I’d rather see a popular bestseller released in February than something that will sit on the pegs for ages (or even worse, nothing at all).
The Bandai Figuarts Zero One Piece Trafalgar Law Battle Ver. figure is scheduled to be released in Japan in February 2014, with an arrival in the United States and other countries a few weeks afterward. Pre-orders for the Battle Version Trafalgar Law figure are not yet available, but I’ll post another article and order links once photos of the Figuarts Trafalgar Law Battle Version figure are available and he goes up for purchase.
