One Piece Figuarts Zero Nico Robin Dressrosa Ver. Photos!

Nico Robin hasn’t exactly gotten a fair shake as far as the Bandai Figuarts Zero One Piece line goes. Despite being a very popular member of the Straw Hats, Nico Robin has only had one mass-released Figuarts Zero figure released to date. With the dearth of One Piece Figuarts Zero figure releases overall in 2014, I feared we might never see a mass-produced Nico Robin figure from Bandai again. Thankfully, that’s not the case, and a new Nico Robin figure is coming sooner than we expected! The One Piece Figuarts Zero Nico Robin Dress Rosa Version figure will be released in October 2014!

Figuarts Zero One Piece Nico Robin Dressrosa Ver Figure October 2014Earlier this month, Bandai Japan announced that Nico Robin would be getting her second regular-release Figuarts Zero One Piece figure as part of the October/November 2014 wave of One Piece FAZ figures. The Figuarts Zero Nico Robin New World Ver. figure was released several years ago, and while it’s still a fairly good-looking figure, I’m definitely excited to get a figurine of Nico Robin in her latest attire!

Bandai One Piece Figuarts Zero Dress Rosa Nico Robin Figure Back

Nico Robin’s appearance has changed quite a bit following the two-year time skip–her skin has gotten a lot lighter and her style has gotten even more provocative than it was when she was introduced. For the One Piece FAZ Nico Robin Dress Rosa version figure, she’s wearing her wicked cool black high-heeled boots and super-short dress, along with a lavender backpack (no doubt filled with books) completing the look.

There’s no doubt about it–this is one smoking hot Nico Robin figure, perhaps the best-looking Nico Robin PVC figure I can remember being released by any company. Bandai has done a really outstanding job with with Nico Robin statue.

Nico Robin Dressrosa Figuarts Zero One Piece Figure Close-UpWhile I’m very pleased with the actual One Piece Figuarts Zero Nico Robin Dress Rosa Version figure itself that Bandai has on tap for fall 2014, I’m not excited about the price-point for the figure. With a retail price of 3,880 yen, Nico Robin is likely to cost about $38 US. That’s a pretty high price for a figure with zero effects pieces and no alternate parts whatsoever.

I think Bandai would have been much better off if they’d found a way to get Nico Robin priced at $29.99 or below. I’m buying her regardless, as no other major figure of Dress Rosa Nico Robin is scheduled for release, but I’d have been more content if she’d been at least a few bucks cheaper.

One Piece Figuarts Zero Nico Robin Dressrosa Version FigureThe One Piece Figuarts Zero Nico Robin Dress Rosa Ver. figure should be available for pre-order around the beginning of August 2014, with an expected release date in October/November 2014. I’ll send out an alert via the One Piece Z Facebook Page once Nico Robin goes up for pre-order, so be sure to like us on Facebook if you want to have news and updates sent straight to your Facebook Newsfeed!

What are your thoughts on the upcoming Dressrosa Nico Robin Figuarts Zero figure, One Piece collectors? Is this new version of Nico Robin worth Bandai’s asking price, or will you be saving your ~$38 for something else when Dress Rosa Nico Robin arrives this fall?

  1. Well it’s like you said this being the second main Nico Robin figure, so I kinda have to get her and she does look stunning, i wish the price was a little bit lower but all in all I don’t mind paying it.

  2. Finally a Nico Robin figure that looks good, only the Megahouse Z Edition was imho decent, but not an outfit/look from the main story, so I will get this, even if the price is a bit higher.
I’m really glad that this is not a limited release like Doflamingo, Fujitora and Bartolomeo, because those cost more then most non-limited P.O.P statues…
The Lucy statue is pretty cool too! Pictures are already out for all three!

  3. Very nice, and it’s on my buying list.
I do kinda hope they include an alt head, the cap & glasses-on look from your last post would be nice.

  4. Hopefully they have an alt head with her cap, don’t really like how the hair looks but besides that she looks awesome
